Today I am going to talk about sunscreen. Sunscreen is very important because it helps protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays on a daily basis, which is the key to aging gracefully.

But not all sunscreens are equal:

There are chemical sunscreens and natural sunscreens. “Natural” stands for “mineral” and that’s what you are looking for. You want a mineral sunscreen, but keep in mind that, again, not all mineral sunscreens are equal. There are sunscreens made of large molecules and sunscreens with small-micronized molecules.

You want one with large molecules because they will not penetrate the skin. They will sit on top of it, thus the harmful rays will be reflected when they touch the skin. That’s why I have added to the French Secret® skincare line a mineral sunscreen, Crème Sérénité®, made of large zinc oxide and titanium dioxide molecules.

Most of the time, the issue with large natural/mineral molecule sunscreens, is that they look whitish on the skin.

How to get the best of both worlds and use a mineral sunscreen with large molecules that will not make you look whitish?
